Keyedin Task plan – Print plan instructions.

Before Printing the plan:
Press the zoom out button once. Ensure that the Gantt is loaded from the start of the project.
If there are any Work Packages that have ended or detail is not needed, collapse these in the plan.
If your plan is over 250 Task rows, you may wish to split the print into 250 rows per page. Alternatively split it at a certain point in your plan i.e. at the end of a WP, or ensure related work packages are going to print on the same page. For example, split the plan after the WPs and before the Materials/ T&S/ Other costs.
Press Print plan (highlighted above) and check the settings match below, and you have specified how many rows (tasks) to print per page (I would recommend a maximum of 250)

Choose Columns, Tick:
ID, Outline, Description, start, finish, effort, allocated, confirmed, predecessors, resource/role, % complete, Gantt chart
Print options:
Maximum rows per page - 250 (or other number relating to where you wish to split)
Leave the rest blank.
Page Size:
page size - A0
orientation - Landscape
page margins - 40mm
Fit to one page setting is on width to ensure the Gantt chart prints alongside the corresponding tasks.
DPI (PPI) ratio - 235
Page width - 10631 (should default)
Page height - 7411 (should default)
Click OK, your browser print preview will load. *It's important to give this some time to render fully before pressing print*
Press print and ensure your printer options are
Destination - Save to pdf
Pages - all
Layout - Landscape
In More settings, paper size - A0, pages per sheet - 1 leave the rest at default.
*It's important to let the preview load before attempting to save, this will take a few minutes on larger plans*
Once the print preview has loaded, press print and save to your folder. Again, let the file completely download before opening it.
Once open, use the zoom button to make it big enough to read.
